CEC Motor and Utility Services has an immediate full-time opportunity for an experienced Industrial Control Panel Builder at our UL 508A air-conditioned Panel Shop in Palmetto, FL. Pay will be based on relevant experience and/or education. Pay Frequency: • Weekly NOTE: This position requires drug and background screening.FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Responsibilities:• Wire and build industrial electrical control panels based on schematics and/or blueprints.• Maintain facility safety, cleanliness, and organization.• Occasionally may be asked to perform other functions not particularly addressed in this posting. Qualifications:• 1+ year of experience in control panel building (required).• High school graduate or equivalent.• Must be able to work independently.• Willingness to learn.• Motivated.• Must be able to read electrical schematics.• Strong mechanical and electrical background.• Troubleshooting experience (preferred)• PLC programming experience is a plus, but not required.• Must be able to remain stationary up to 50% of the time.• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about within the shop to gather materials.• Constantly place and position small and large materials when assembling panels. • The ability to observe details at close range. • Frequently moves material weighing up to 50 pounds across the shop for various needs.
