Description:
United Wholesale Mortgageis hiring a Quality Engineer for an on-site position in Pontiac, MI. Duties: Perform manual and automated testing of software applications. Support UWMs move toward a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) model where code is deployed on demand. Design, build and manage performance test frameworks and scripts. Support testing of multiple ongoing software development projects concurrently. Perform manual and automated functional and performance testing. Follow industry standard defect management processes. Define new testing processes that will streamline software development. Conduct code reviews with peers. Create performance strategy and execution using performance tools. Analyze central processing unit (CPU), memory, storage, network and impact on performance tests. Understand differences between containers, cloud, virtualization and configuration management. Configure and run tests to identify bottlenecks in systems. Effectively read results and interpret graphs and present to teams. Create test scripts in C#, Visual Basic and/or Java. Manage projects, test cases and defects. Define performance test strategy in collaboration with business stakeholders. Conduct database testing and utilize Structured Query Language (SQL) experience. Test web services, such as SoapUI and REST. Integrate automation into CI/CD tool. Apply knowledge of object-oriented programming. Develop modular, reusable and maintainable automated tests to be integrated into existing automation framework. Utilize appropriate automation and performance tool sets. Apply knowledge of HPE Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Selenium, LoadRunner. Req: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Technologies, Computer Applications or related and 18 months of experience as a Quality Engineer, QA Specialist, Configuration Developer or related.
