Determine the best techniques, procedures and/or theories as they apply to the development of power electronics products and systems. Create compliance procedures for the development of electrical/electronic circuitry designs. Define and interpret design specifications; design electrical/electronic circuitry to meet specified requirements; and analyzes product design requirements and recommend solutions. Prepare and coordinates the release of documentation to support component design and manufacturing. Participate in all aspects of preliminary design and systems architecture, and conducts analysis of the cost impacts of proposed modifications, upgrades, and new implementations of application software. Conduct feasibility studies and systems analysis for new applications or major modifications of existing systems. Work with other engineers, designers, and technicians on specific work assignments. Forecast and schedule work activities, and defines processes for repetitive tasks. Act as the technical lead for troubleshooting field and factory issues on the range of power electronics products and systems on Johnson Controls' chillers. Travel to visit customers, Johnson Controls' factories, vendors, and/or professional conferences as business needsHow you will do it Comply with Johnson Controls' Code of Ethics and policies Effectively utilize your knowledge, skills, and Johnson Controls' tools Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams Is open minded to receive and offer constructive feedbacks Is flexible to support customers and business Open to hybrid work out of our New Freedom PA facility Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven, team-oriented environment Ability to travel 10% of their time domestic or internationalWhat we look forRequired Master degree on Electrical Engineering with specialization on Power Electronics Minimum 14 years of industry experience in the field of Power Electronics.
