Osseo Area Schools is hiring Child Care Assistants who are passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives for our K-5 before and after school programs, as well as our all-day preschool programs. No prior experience required. Job Responsibilities: Support instructors and program managers in providing enriching activities for children's wellbeing and social development Lead various activities, including language arts, science, physical fitness, and games Maintain a safe and welcoming environment, following health and safety procedures Assist with student sign-in/sign-out and communicate any incidents to the program manager Communicate with families and building staff Pay & Schedule: Competitive pay starting at $19.43/hour Monday to Friday shifts, no weekends K-5 program: Part-time shifts ranging 1.5-3.5 hours/day; morning shift: 6:15 am - 9:45 am, afternoon shift: 2:45 pm - 6:15 pm Benefits: Paid holidays for employees working at least 10.5 hours/week Accrued sick time Health and dental insurance available for part-time and full-time employees Professional development opportunities provided Qualifications: Must have a passion for working with children Reliable transportation to and from work If you are looking to join a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing engaging opportunities to children in the community, apply for the Child Care Assistant position today!
