Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our finance team as an Accounting Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our company while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic industry. Responsibilities: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and procedures Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of financial issues Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards CPA or progress towards CPA certification is a plus
