We are advancing the world of Broadcasting and we want YOU to join our winning team!KVAL is looking for a Newscast Director for our Newscasts!Responsibilities: Perform any production duties as assigned including: * Direct and/or staff any assigned newscasts and productions * Flexibility with schedule to facilitate crewing of newscasts * Train production crew on equipment and operating procedures * Supervise production crew on a daily basis * Maintain production studio and control room * Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned * Communicate with co-workers in a professional and courteous manner * Facilitate a focused work environment Requirements: * Experience Directing and staffing newscasts * Knowledge of production operating procedures and equipment * Ability to communicate clearly and calmly during on-air moments * Flexibility with schedule to facilitate crewing of newscasts * Ability to read and write * Must be able to lift & position equipment weighing 40 pounds Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace!About Us Make your mark in Media with Sinclair, Inc., a diversified media company dedicated to connecting people with content everywhere!
