This is a direct hire opportunity paying $47,840-$52,000 per year!As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will: * Prepares and distributes shop order materials for internal work centers. * Prepares and distributes customer orders for shipping department. * Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repair. * Directs movement of shipments from inspection department and receiving department to storage and work areas. * Compiles records of unfilled orders. * Posts weight and shipping charges. * Provides inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager. * Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made. * Manages and maintains inventory system under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager. * Assists with stock checks and other interdepartmental requests. * Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory. * Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits. * Operates forklift truck when necessary.This is a Full-time direct hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will have: * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Experience in related field preferred. * Demonstrated working concepts of Lean manufacturing. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a bonus. * Familiarity with forklifts and overhead cranes is preferred, though training will be provided. * Adapt to a fast-paced workflow. * Safety Oriented. * Cycle Count experience. * Proficient using a computer. * Shipping & Receiving experience.Pay Rate: $47,840-$52,000 per year*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
