The Oasis is located in the Four Corners region in New Mexico, 45 miles south of Durango, Colorado. We are a multi-ethnic church on the border of the largest Native American reservation in the United States, the Navajo Reservation. Our worship style is contemporary and we have a focus of reaching those who are not in relationship with God and helping them become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.Responsibilities include oversight of all ministries for children from birth through elementary age. This includes weekend services and mid-week activities.? Ability to coordinate outreaches to the community a couple of times a year.? Provide leadership for a Christmas presentation by the children every year.? Participate in Kid's Camp in the summer.? Provide periodic activities for children and parents outside of weekend or mid-week activities.? Participate in regular staff meetings and work closely with the Lead Pastor and other team members.This is a full time position and salary will be determined by experience and education in Children's Ministry. Relocation costs within the United States is provided. Ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God is a plus.
