Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 6 Years, Job Overview: A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Senior Attorney with expertise in litigation, particularly in health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills, coupled with strong project management abilities. This role requires the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.Requirements:6+ years of experience with drafting litigation documents, such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions in health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation matters.State and federal court experience is a plus.Strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.Immediately transferable skills and strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.Strong project management skills and attention to detail.Admitted to practice law.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar in Texas (or ability to obtain admission promptly).Additional certifications or specialized training in relevant areas of law are advantageous.
