Job Title: Data Control Analyst 1 Job Category: Exempt Report To: Team Lead / Project Director Description: Gathers, organizes, and catalogs telecommunications information from various sources for input into company database. Processed data must conform to team standards and quality specifications. Duties also include analyzing database information for consistency, errors, and patterns using database analysis. Educational & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Accounting, Statistics, related degree, or equivalent experience 0 to 2 years of on-the-job analytical experience Security Requirements U.S. Citizenship Required Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information Must have or be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance Required Qualifications Efficient using Microsoft Excel Proficient in job-related Microsoft Office products Beginning experience in the research and collection of technical data (e.g., technical specifications, product data) Data Literacy: beginner competency in finding, manipulating, managing, and interpreting data, numbers, text, and images Meticulous attention to detail Strong analytical and problem solving skills Exceptional prioritization, process, and communication skills Strong work ethic Must show initiative and have the ability to work on multiple tasks Must exhibit time management skills Ability to work independently to meet set goals and objectives Ability to work in a team environment and use available resources in meeting team deadlines Must be willing to quality check data records in accordance with established company processes and standards Use critical and systematic thinking for pattern recognition/discovery Analyze data using statistical tools and analytical methods Interpret data sets and identify relationships and insights Transform raw data and evaluate/test output for accuracy, validity, suitability and meaning Creativity, innovation and curiosity; a strong desire to learn and understand data, trends, and industry dynamics Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of Oracle 19c or other RDBMS Basic knowledge of SQL queries, or equivalent Basic knowledge of Excel, such as VLookups, Charts, and Pivot Tables Responsibilities Analyze database information Conduct research via the Internet and through information within company library Analyze/Rationalize data from multiple sources Create status reports for management purposes Work with team members to complete set objectives Understand and demonstrate corporate core values Adhere to quality procedures defined in the company’s Quality Management System, which is consistent with ISO 9001:2015 standards and company goals Perform related duties to support production and delivery needs, as assigned Powered by JazzHR
