They should possess a proactive approach, strong business acumen, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships. Exceptional academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential. Relevant DC Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly is required.Duties:Manage transactions independently, demonstrating expertise in various corporate and transactional matters.Specialize in leveraged buyouts and strategic investments.Provide legal counsel and support to clients throughout the transaction process.Conduct due diligence and risk assessment.Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents and agreements.Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to ensure seamless transaction execution.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.Requirements:3-6 years of relevant experience in private equity buy-outs and transactional matters.Demonstrated ability to manage transactions independently.Strong business sense and proactive approach.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Outstanding academic credentials from a reputable institution.Comparable law firm experience preferred.Relevant DC Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the DC Bar or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.Skills:Transactional expertise.Legal research and analysis.Due diligence.Negotiation.Relationship management.Attention to detail.Time management and prioritization.Adaptability and problem-solving abilities.
