Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a part-time Pharmacist for a technology-powered, growth-minded, and well-backed pharmacy in Peoria, IL. The ideal candidate should have a current Pharmacist license in Illinois About the job Pharmacists are vital in healthcare, ensuring safe and effective medication use. They dispense prescriptions, offer patient counseling, and collaborate with healthcare teams. The pharmacists will verify prescriptions, manage drug interactions, and provide valuable medication information. Accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential in this role. Duties and Responsibilities: Performs the duties of a pharmacist in compliance with policy and state/federal regulationsWorks with supervisory staff to develop and implement ideas for delivering high-quality, cost-effective servicesWorks independently; demonstrates leadership in the practice of pharmacyStrong attention to detail and maintaining attention to detail in a challenging and fast-paced environmentStrong ability to adapt and produce results in a fast-growing companySupervises pharmacy support personnel, which includes activities performed, work allocation between staff, and work performance (quality and quantity of work)Delegates aspects of pharmacy practice to a pharmacy intern or pharmacy technician within the parameters of their job descriptionImplements policy and regulatory-required record systems and processes for the pharmacyBe available for on-call services if requiredOther tasks as assigned by Management Qualifications : Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License in Illinois is required.Experience in retail or Long-term care is preferred.Bachelor’s Degree is required.Work in a team environment. We are looking for an experienced and motivated pharmacist determined to improve care for our patients by offering services not found by our competitors.Ability to commute or relocate to Peoria, ILAuthorized to work in the US.
