Overview:We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various marine vessels, both gas and diesel.Responsibilities:- Conduct routine maintenance on marine vessels, including inspections, oil changes, and filter replacements.- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.- Perform engine tune-ups and adjustments.- Troubleshoot and repair boat systems, including steering, propulsion, and electrical systems.- Follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications for repairs and maintenance.- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.Skills:- Strong mechanical aptitude.- Experience with marine engines, electronics, and boat systems on vessels up to 65 feet.- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.-Must be able to work independently and have high quality work ethic.- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required.- Must be a self-starter, able to manage projects on your own and have excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate directly with customers.- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.Join our team as a Marine Technician and enjoy the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can apply your skills in maintaining marine vessels.
