Practice Area: Employment Law - Litigation Plaintiffs & Class Actions, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm in Sacramento, CA is seeking an Employment (Plaintiff Side) Associate Attorney with the following qualifications: Job Overview:The Employment Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling plaintiff-side employment law cases, including drafting legal documents, conducting research, participating in mediations, and collaborating with clients and team members. Duties:Draft motions, responses to discovery, and initial pleadings.Conduct legal research on employment law issues.Collaborate with clients and team members on WH cases, including class actions.Draft various legal documents for State and Federal Courts.Oversee mediation and court approval processes for employment cases.Manage pleadings filing, service of process, and compliance with deadlines.Handle employment-related disputes, including discrimination and wrongful termination cases.Collaborate with HR departments and management on employment policies.Participate in mediations and second-chair experiences in employment law matters. Requirements:JD degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California State Bar.3-5 years of experience practicing employment law on the plaintiff side.Strong knowledge of federal and state employment regulations.Exceptional writing, research, and oral communication skills.Excellent negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software.Background in plaintiff-side employment matters. Skills:Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Stay current of federal, state, and local employment laws.Excellent negotiation skills. Education:JD degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Active membership in the California State Bar.
