This position will have the ability to oversee the day-to-day functions of the accounts receivable and accounts payable for the firm. Primary Duties and Responsibilities for Bookkeeper : Process payments for deposits. Reconcile electronic payments for deposits. Enter costs in Billing System. Process checks for distribution to vendors. Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and Comptroller. Requirements : Associates Degree in business, accounting, or related field. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without error, set priorities, and accommodate rush requests. Excellent time management skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. Must know Microsoft Office. Maintains confidentiality. Strong work ethic, highly self-motivated, team player, and self-directed. Preferred Requirements : Experience working in law firm. Strong technical knowledge and experience with accounting systems (ProLaw). E-Billing experience preferred.
