Job Description Job Description Position Specifics: Department: Sales Reports to: Loxahatchee & Boynton Beach Site Managers Supervises: None Location: Loxahatchee Purpose: Sells new and used equipment available to the sales professional with a specialized focus on Compact Construction Equipment in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Responsibilities: o Professionally represents the company while building sales relationships with current and potential customers in the defined sales area o Work together with other sales staff and departments when specialist knowledge is necessary o Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment o Monitors competitive activity and products and timely communicates to management accordingly o Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management o Knows and follows the defined sales process of the company o Maintains assigned company vehicles and equipment o Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events and trade shows o Conducts equipment field demonstrations o Monitors trends in customer's business activities and timely communicates to management o Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods o Attends applicable sales training events, seminars, and meetings Requirements: o Knowledge of equipment operational practices preferred o Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions o Ability to communicate professionally on the phone, in person, and through email o Ability to work flexible hours o Excellent customer relationship skills o Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports o High School Diploma or equivalent work experience o Outgoing personality and self-motivated Company Description We are a family-owned business that started in 1963 as a John Deere dealership serving the agricultural industry around Lake Okeechobee and have grown to 18 locations covering South and Central Florida.
