This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop a diverse practice by preparing and prosecuting patent applications across a spectrum of commercially significant technologies for large- and medium-sized clients from various industries. The focus areas include semiconductors, computer-related technologies, telecommunications, consumer electronics, digital image processing, and robotics.Duties:Prepare and prosecute patent applications for clients in the specified technology domains.Develop and implement patent strategies to protect clients' intellectual property.Conduct patentability and freedom-to-practice studies to assess the viability of patent applications.Prepare opinion letters on patent-related matters.Conduct due diligence on intellectual property issues.Negotiate technology agreements to secure clients' interests.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering (advanced degree preferred).State Bar admission.Registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.Familiarity with U.S. patent laws.Skills:Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and technologies.Excellent legal research and analytical skills.Effective communication and negotiation abilities.Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.Education:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Advanced degree preferred).Certifications:State Bar admission.United States Patent and Trademark Office registration.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and advancement.Collaborative and supportive work environment.
