We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Pipe Fitter to join our dynamic team! The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining mechanical piping systems according to specifications and plans. This role requires keen attention to detail, proficiency in pipefitting techniques, and the ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings. Responsibilities:• Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems.• Measure, cut, and bend pipes using hand and power tools such as pipe cutters, threading machines, and bending machines.• Install and assemble piping systems, including joining pipes by welding, brazing, soldering, and threading.• Inspect and test installed systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.• Collaborate with other team members, including plumbers, HVAC technicians, and construction personnel, to complete projects efficiently.• Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established procedures.• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked. Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in pipefitting preferred.• Proven experience as a Mechanical Pipe Fitter or similar role, with at least 2-5 years of relevant experience.• Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications.• Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, and equipment.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.• Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes.
