WorthShift:First Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:8Summary:This Physical Therapist will work on a part-time basis to assist with coverage for our various Pediatric Rehabilitation Clinics in Fort Worth, Hurst, and Mansfield, TX. The Physical Therapist must have the education, knowledge, and skill to provide in-patient and/or out-patient services, focusing on functional skills to enhance development, restore function, and prevent disability from pediatric conditions, illness, and injury. Evaluation, treatment, and home programming are provided for children with burns and wounds, sports medicine and orthopedic injuries, brain injuries and neurological impairments, hematology and oncology disorders, musculoskeletal injuries or disorders, gross motor delays, and cardiopulmonary disorders. Responsibilities also include evaluations for wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices, as well as patient and caregiver education and consultation with other professionals, clinics, and agencies, both within Cook Children's Health Care System and within the community.Flat Pay Rate : $51.50/hour Hours/Schedule: Days/Hours will vary but our clinics operate from 7:30 am - 6 pm Mon-Fri.Education: Master's Degree or equivalent experiences. Pediatric Experience Preferred Developmental and/or Sports Experience Preferred.Certification/Licensure: State license for physical therapy in TX (or eligible for licensure).
