The litigator will manage a significant caseload, attend legal proceedings, prepare litigation documents, and maintain client communication. Strong advocacy skills, legal expertise, and technological proficiency are essential. Duties:Manage a substantial caseload from inception to post-trialAttend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trialsPrepare pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documentsProvide timely reports to insurance carriers and clients on case statusDevelop client relationships through effective communication and relationship-building methodsTravel to various courthouses and locations as necessaryMeet monthly billing requirementsWork in a professional office setting Requirements:1-3+ years of experience in first-party property or PIP defense litigation Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolGood Standing Membership with the Florida Bar Skills and Certifications:Knowledge and experience in first-party property claims and/or PIP litigationExpertise in all phases of litigation from pleadings to trialExperience in taking and defending depositionsStrong oral advocacy and writing skillsCase evaluation skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office productsTechnological confidence in using process management systems and available technology Benefits Offered:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurancePaid time off401k with matchingEmployer-paid short-term disability and basic life insurance
