CNC Machine Operator & Programmer

Sea Fox Boat Works is an industry leading, saltwater fishing boat manufacturer who is looking for talented CNC Machine operator. This job includes using a CNC machine to cut vinyl for cushions, plastic for parts and canvas produced in our upholstery shop. Duties/Responsibilities: Schedule & Nest work orders across 12 boat models Nest boats to order as well as parts for stock to avoid material waste Maintain inventory of stock parts Design and develop for current and new products using AutoCAD software Operate and maintain two CNC cutting machines. One for Vinyl and one for plastic substrates Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper function Troubleshoot and resolve issues with programming or machine performance. Assist in plastic preparation of substrates. Route edges and apply rubber gasket to substrates Assemble Helm Seats for various boat models Mount Helm Seats on onto Seaboard for installation Be willing to assist in other areas of the shop as needed Requirements : Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work Experience with AutoCAD preferred Basic understanding of maintaining a database. Knowledge in CNC Intermediate level computer skills Dependable Shows Initiative Self-Motivated Team Player Excellent Organizational skills Ability to lift 50-75lbs Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a CNC Machine Operator Additional technical certifications or training in CNC machining is a plus. Keep up with a fast paced manufacturing line to ensure that our manufacturing plant receives their parts in a timely manner, while working in a safe and professional manner and able to get along with others Finish production requirements on a daily basis. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations, housekeeping guidelines, and maintenance and organization. What you should know/experience you should have: A High School Diploma or GED Previous knowledge of using a CNC machine (preferably Eastman CNC cutter and/or AXYZ CNC Machine) Experience using a CNC machine to cut vinyl, canvas or plastic Benefits offered :Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k) after 60 days of employment!Eligible for all Vacation days after 90 days of employment!Weekly Pay!Come join the Sea Fox Boat Works Family today!Powered by JazzHR
