ABOUT SITEC SITEC is an employee and customer focused Information Technology and Professional Services Firm specializing in design, development, and delivery of state-of-the-art technology solutions, as well as cybersecurity, software and systems engineering services. SUMMARY SITEC has an immediate opportunity for a System Administrator who will be responsible for installs, configurations, and supporting the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. The qualified SA will monitor networks to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. They will assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between the network and data communications hardware and software. They will provide technical assistance to computer users, and answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically. Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word-processing, electronic mail, and operating systems. Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as LAN, WAN, and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. The SA will perform maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption. SITEC seeks candidates with significant deployment and configuration support for VMWARE and ESXi (vSphere) Enterprise, CISCO switches, SAN, and Windows server. Must have experience with networking and Linux. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a relevant subject matter. An additional six (6) years of relevant System Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. An additional four (4) years of relevant System Administrator experience may be substituted for an associate degree. This position requires an ACTIVE Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance. Certifications Required: An Operating System Certification in Windows or Linux is required. CompTIA Security+ or other DOD INST 8570 compliant qualification is required. SPECTRUM OF JOB LEVELS System Administrator, Jr. Requires a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience as a System Administrator. System Administrator, Journey Requires a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience as a System Administrator.
