Working Hours: Up to 40 hours per week with schedule variations based on season and workload.Some overtime and travel required. Four years of professional experience related to the duties and responsibilities provided herein may substitute for the required bachelor's degree. A valid driver's license is required. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: : Administration of lionfish outreach and educational and programs within the FWC, Division of Marine Fisheries Management.: Represent FWC at lionfish derbies, festivals, and conferences throughout Florida.: Lead the coordination and administration of ongoing lionfish removal incentive programs.: Develop and implement innovative communication strategies to promote FWC lionfish programs and increase public participation.: Collaborate with information technology staff to maintain and improve the FWC lionfish web pages.: Assist with new and ongoing lionfish research projects.: Maintain social media outlets and promote FWC lionfish programs.
