Qualifications of an ideal Activities Assistant: Microsoft office program experience Internet-on line based databases Includes set up/breakdown for activities Creativity/organization/attention to detail Engaging residents and building excitement for events/activities planned High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Valid State of Residence Driver’s License with safe driving record At least 1 year of related work experience in Senior Living Activities Assistant Job Summary: An Activities Assistant is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating a program of therapeutic recreational activities for residents. Establish, promote, and support programs fostering enjoyment and overall wellness. Consult with other departments in implementing appropriate activities for Residents.
