The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in the field, demonstrating a deep understanding of coverage opinions, insurance policy analysis, and legal document preparation. The role demands a high-caliber professional with excellent academic credentials and a strong capability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Duties:Analyze insurance policies to evaluate coverage issues and determine legal obligations.Prepare detailed coverage opinions to advise clients on insurance matters.Draft and manage reservations of rights and disclaimer letters.Provide strategic coverage recommendations to clients.Engage in complex legal research and analysis of various insurance laws and practices.Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and other team members on large cases.Handle a diverse caseload across various U.S. jurisdictions, primarily focusing on New York.Assume significant responsibility for client interaction and case management.Participate in continuing education sessions and contribute to firm seminars and workshops.Requirements:Must be admitted to practice law in the State of New York.Minimum of three years of relevant experience in insurance policy analysis and coverage opinions.Superior academic credentials from a reputable law school.Excellent writing and analytical skills.Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Law review experience or judicial clerkship experience is highly desirable.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar is required.Additional certifications related to insurance law or legal analysis may be advantageous.Skills:Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.A high degree of professionalism and ethical integrity.Proactive in problem-solving and capable of handling complex legal issues.Benefits:Competitive salary and bonus structure.Contributions to 401(k) retirement plan.Comprehensive health and dental plans.Subsidized gym membership.Disability coverage.
