Your Job Dark Vision is seeking a Data Team Lead to join our growing organization. You will manage a team of around eight Data Analysts producing paid client deliverables, ensuring a high quality of work is reliably maintained while partnering with multiple groups to continue innovating our service offerings. As the ideal candidate, you will come with experience managing a group of technical knowledge workers within a dynamic entrepreneurial environment. Given our recent growth, the workflow and technologies relied upon by our Data team frequently require re-evaluation and adjustment to ensure we continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. Our Team Dark Vision's acoustic imaging technology captures terabytes of high-fidelity data with each run. Our data analysis team plays a critical role in the commercial process by analyzing these massive ultrasound datasets using our proprietary visualization software. They are meticulous, methodical, and thorough in providing customers with critical insights that lead to multi-million-dollar actions. What You Will Do Learn the delivery standards and workflow processes for your assigned product line(s). Regularly check in with team members to: backss their current capacity Mitigate inefficiencies in the workflow and remove stuck points Build a roadmap for their role development within the team Through frequent 1:1 meetings, track team members' progression in their role, deliver constructive feedback, and ensure they receive proper recognition for their work Facilitate communication between your team and other teams and upper management: Messaging in the right place, to the right people, with the right info in a timely manner Ensure employees are aware and aligned with the business' Vision, and that the goals and direction of the team help drive achievement of the Vision Facilitate the improvement of workflow procedures and best practices; seek out new solutions, poll the team for feedback,.
