About the Role We’re looking for an IT Operations Manager to join our growing department of IT professionals. As the IT Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of OFG’s IT systems ensuring colleagues and the young people we support, get the great IT experience they deserve. Your remit will include, internet, printing, and phone system capability for all sites (almost 100) nationally. You’ll also be responsible for high standards of customer satisfaction with a continuous focus on making IT accessible, easy and reliable. Supported by the IT Service Desk and Hardware Teams, you’ll maintain high service levels and strong supplier performance. With a close eye on budgets, you’ll make sure we’re delivering a high-quality service at a competitive price. Internet safety and data security will be high on your agenda, as will the need for effective and robust procedures. Cyber Essentials and ITIL frameworks will be part of your DNA weaving them seamlessly into the way we operate. When things go wrong, your strong leadership style will shine through as you take control with the primary aim of restoring services quickly whilst keeping everyone who’s impacted informed throughout. To be successful in this role you will need: Proven experience working in IT Operations environment leading either a Service Desk Team or managing the supply of hardware services across an organisation Ability to prioritise workloads in accordance with business needs Experienced user of IT Service Management software, including the ability to analyse data, develop basic reports and adapt configurations for.
