π₯ Nurse Residency (StaRN) Program - Charleston, SC π Location: Charleston, SC -Open to New Grads and Experienced Nursesπ΅ Salary Start: $29.62/hourπ Start Dates: Jul 22, 2024; Aug 5, 2024π Join Our Team: Inviting new graduate RNs to a unique StaRN Residency Program offering specialized training in Med/Surg units (Oncology, Ortho, Trauma, Neuro & General). Program Overview: Part 1: StaRN Training (5-8 Weeks): Classroom training, simulations, certifications, and charting systems training. (Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week) Part 2: Clinical Preceptorship (7-8 Weeks): Hands-on training at the hospital with one-on-one preceptor guidance, development meetings, and coaching. Part 3: HCA Residency (Remainder of 1st Year): Transition to full-time roles, mentorship, monthly meetings, and completion of an evidence-based capstone project. Requirements: π Graduate from an accredited nursing school within the past year. π©Ί Current SC RN license or multi-state compact license (or ability to obtain). π Program requires a 2-year full-time commitment with potential monetary responsibility if not fulfilled. π Strong communication skills and self-motivation essential.
