Our trailer shop in Edmonton is currently seeking licensed trailer and/or reefer technicians to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers in our Sobeys Fleet to ensure all are running safely and efficiently. Here’s where you’ll be focusing: • Reviewing pre/ post trip log sheets and repair inspection sheets for defects and out of service equipment • Ensure preventative maintenance inspections are completed according to Company guidelines • Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary refrigeration or trailer repairs on all equipment • Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers and other transportation team members as required to schedule and complete repairs • Assist in ordering parts as needed • Transport Trailer Technicians will perform general trailer repairs including brakes, suspension, electrical and all basic mechanical repairs. • Conduct annual commercial vehicle inspections to Alberta standards on all equipment • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all Company safety.
