The successful candidate will have an academic position description of Clinician Teacher and must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor at the University of Toronto. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2024, or at a subsequent mutually agreeable date. Sinai Health is a leader in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Neonatology, with one of the largest programs and services in Canada. It is a fully- affiliated teaching hospital with the University of Toronto and is associated with the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, an institute of international recognition in which research in women’s and infants’ health forms a major component. The position represents an opportunity to establish a busy clinical practice with dedicated health care professionals. The successful candidate will practice both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Clinical responsibilities will include Obstetrics and Gynaecology outpatient clinics, surgical gynaecology, and in-house obstetrical call. Candidates with an interest or expertise in any of early pregnancy management, family planning, vulvar care or advanced surgical obstetrics will be preferred.
