Contributes to the overall success of the Credit Cards and Unsecured Lending Canadian Banking business in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: Be responsible for a product portfolio within the Scotiabank Credit Cards Team Contribute to the product strategy and profitability by implementing new products and programs and enhancing existing programs Manage product portfolio activities including overall P&L responsibility, managing product features and working with marketing and acquisition to determine acquisition and retention offers, budgets and campaigns Employ financial, market, and industry analyses in drawing conclusions and developing portfolio/product/program recommendations Contribute to the development and deliver new programs from concept to execution including the preparation of supporting business cases, documents, presentations and project plans Develop and execute the communication strategy, with continual adjustments and improvements as needed Manage and support project plans for implementing initiatives. Identify milestones, timing and recommend resources required to complete initiatives Drive post-analysis reporting and measurement of initiative results with Finance and Analytics Analyze and develop recommendations for improvements and enhanced efficiencies for future portfolio campaigns/programs/initiatives Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
