Posting End Date:03/08/2024 Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Louisiana, LLC As a safety sensitive position, compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) drug and alcohol regulations is required, including but not limited to pre: employment drug testing and background screening. Entergy has entered into an agreement to sell its Louisiana gas distribution business to Bernhard Capital Partners. The sale is expected to close in approximately the third quarter of 2025. Entergy has no planned reduction in workforce as a result of this sale, and intends to operate the business as usual prior to the sale. JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Responsible for coordinating, planning, and oversight of day: to: day and longer range activities of gas construction and maintenance crews, including a compliment of contract resources. Normal duties include planning, scheduling, assigning, managing and monitoring of gas maintenance activities while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with internal processes and federal pipeline safety regulations. Ensure all stakeholders, including Entergy New Orleans customers and City/Parish public works officials, are kept informed during construction and maintenance processes and promptly address any needs or concerns from customers or other stakeholders. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES : Utilize all Entergy safety work practices and procedures to safely perform all daily tasks, including hazard backssments, vehicle inspections, attendance of safety meetings and reporting of near misses through Entergy's close calls/good catches program. Conduct daily job site safety backssments and complete documented coaching observations, as required. Schedule, assign, coordinate and manage gas construction and maintenance projects being performance by Entergy crews. Ensure contractors perform all work and reporting as per contracts.
