The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property, specifically in drafting and patent prosecution, with a preference for those with experience in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields.Duties:Conducting patent prosecution, including preparing and drafting responses to Office Actions.Collaborating with inventors and technical experts to understand inventions and draft patent applications.Analyzing and interpreting complex technical documents related to inventions.Conducting legal research to support patent prosecution efforts.Requirements:2-6 years of legal experience.Significant intellectual property (IP) experience, particularly in drafting and patent prosecution.Educational background in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.Design engineering experience with a chip company is a plus.Preference for candidates with expertise in networking, software, 3G/4G/5G wireless networks, or similar technologies.Admitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Bar licensure in California is a plus.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Bachelor or advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.Certifications:Admission to the USPTO.Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with inventors and technical experts.Detail-oriented and capable of handling complex technical documents.Proficient in drafting responses to Office Actions.Familiarity with patent prosecution processes and procedures.
