Purpose Contributes to the overall success of Talent COE’s activities, ensuring goals, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s strategies and objectives. The Senior Manager, Talent Strategy supports the Talent COE function globally by managing projects, strategic plans and initiatives, aligned with Scotiabank’s vision and Global Human Resources’ strategy. This role ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Key Accountabilities Actively engages with Strategic Support roles in other COEs and the HRBP offices to ensure business needs are understood, plans and initiatives are in alignment with GHR’s and the Bank’s strategic priorities, and work efforts remain focused on delivering impact and strong business results. Operates in an agile manner, supporting multiple key initiatives, projects and deliverables across the Talent COE team, and at times, across GHR globally. This role is, in part, consultative in nature. Participates in active, on-going dialogue with peers within the Talent COE, HRBPs and key business line leaders, to understand needs and actively contributes to, and provides advice on, the development and implementation of Talent solutions to meet objectives. Responsible for the content creation and effective delivery of several Talent COE team engagement activities including Town Halls, Coffee Chats, Onboarding, Development Series’, etc. leveraging broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. For the Talent COE, maintains oversight and management of: Key financial metrics ensuring effective and responsible fiscal management. HR Risk & Regulatory requirements impacting the Talent COE.
