Kids On The Move, Inc. (KOTM) is a nonprofit organization located in Orem, UT. KOTM supports the development of young children and families by "empowering families, one child at a time." KOTM provides services through five main programs: Early Intervention, Early Head Start, Child Care, Respite Care and KOTM's Autism Center. KOTM is seeking a Health Services Intern to work with our EHS Health Services Manager. As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the Health Services Manager to support families in timely completion of monthly health visits, completion of health & safety checklists and improved overall staff wellness. Responsibilities: Organize and maintain catalogs of providers, policies and procedures, and curriculum materials Track child immunizations, health screenings and other medical information needed for appropriate referrals Support recruiting efforts for the Early Head Start program Assist with creation and implementation of staff wellness program Qualifications: Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards as the pertain to Early childhood education and development 1st year Bachelor's in a closely related field Ability to effectively utilize all related technologies Preferred: Bilingual Spanish/English If you are enthusiastic, hard-working, feel passionate about helping children, and are looking for hands on experience, this is a perfect internship for you!
