Where: Fort St. John, BC Wage: $19.00 / Hour Shift: Days Rotation: 3 on 1 off; 2 on 1 off (1:30PM - 9:30PM) WHAT WE OFFER: Reliable Work hours Competitive Health Benefit Package All uniforms and PPE Career growth opportunities WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by patrolling and monitoring premises Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points Access Control: Permit authorized persons entry to site when required Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, inform violators of policy and procedures; restrain if necessary Complete daily Field Level Hazard backssments (FLHA’s) and Daily Occurrence Reports (DOR’s) and Incident Reports (IR’s) when required Able to work efficiently and effectively both as part of a team or individually on site WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: 1-year experience in Retail Security settings Valid BC Security Guard License Standard First Aid with CPR (asset) Class 5 Driver's License with 3 Year Personal Drivers Abstract (less than 6 demerits) Objectivity, emotional control and dependability Able to follow complex instructions, both written and verbal Knowledgeable about security operations and procedures Powered by Jazz HR.
