Our busy hotel is looking for a stellar director of sales and marketing to create a revenue strategy that maximizes profitability for everyday sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events. We need someone ready to be the voice of our brand and manage the marketing budget to enable the development of property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral to generate revenue and meet property targets. Responsibilities: • Meet sales team goals and yearly sales targets, develop and implement short and long-term marketing strategies• Assess the company's success by consulting with sales managers and stakeholders• Write comprehensive and precise sales reports showing the financial statements for sales promotion, direct sales, and outline of marketing plans• Analyze market trends to determine pricing that balances costs, competition, and supply and demand• Hire, train, and motivate your team to provide better customer service to your clients• Establishing and directing the marketing and sales activities of an organization including advertising and public relations Qualifications: • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal• This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing or hospitality being preferred• Proficiency in basic computer skills and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel• Minimum of 5 or more years experience in sales and marketing with some experience in sales management• Strong understanding of marketing strategies and best practices• Experience executing a Marketing Plan and reporting weekly on the status of marketing activity• Bachelor's Degree Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 yearly About Company: Washington Dreyer & Associates specializes in litigation, including in the areas of personal injury, business litigation, family law, and government affairs.
