Circa 1886 is currently searching for a PM Line Cook. We are a fine dining restaurant and having a background in this environment is important to this position. Creativity is encouraged!! The ideal candidate must keep a level head, be able to accept constructive criticism, love cooking and take great pride in his or her ingredients/station. Circa 1886 is closed on Sundays as well as Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, New Year's Day, Easter, Mothers Day, and Fathers Day. Responsibilities: Ensure prep station and kitchen is properly set up and stocked. Prepare ingredients, cook, and assemble dishes. Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products. Maintain a clean workstation to make sure food preparation and storage areas meet or exceed health and safety standards. Perform additional tasks as assigned by sous-chef or executive chef. Qualifications: Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant Certificate and/or degree in Culinary Arts or related field In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team Must have full availability including weekends We offer competitive wages, employee meals, medical, dental and vision insurance after 60 days and 2 weeks paid vacation after your first year of employment.
