"Precision is in the name, and the heart of Our Company." *This position has work hours of 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM Monday - Friday* *We offer a 10% differential for working this shift. Job Responsibilities: Ability to use grinding tools; sharpen corners or edges, buff down surfaces, polish for brighter finish. Ability to use knives, cutting tools, hand sanders, and other manual equipment to fine-tune finished pieces. Maintains count of machined parts and clean, wash or tumble parts as required. Knowledge or ability to operate a grit blasting machine (SPM will train) Follow all safety guidelines as stated by SPM Read and understand standard operating procedure instructions (SPM will train) Job Requirements: Cooperative, team-focused attitude Must have excellent hand-eye coordination and good manual dexterity in both hands. Ability to lift 15 pounds regularly Ability to stand/walk throughout the day for entire shift Ability to read English and follow standard operating procedure instructions Communicate / train others when needed Ability to inspect parts through use of visual and manual inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer etc.)
