About our Bridges to Success Division Bridges to Success provides short and long-term supportive services to adults with physical and mental disabilities who are living at home, with a family member or out in the community. Location: Duluth, MN and surrounding areas Hours of Position Flexible based on staff availability and client needs Full-time Part-time Days Evenings Compensation: $15.00-$17.00/hour, based on experience Description: The BRIDGES Counselor works 1:1 with adults that have disabilities by providing a variety of services such as: Independent living services Self-care Communication skills Community Living & Mobility Reduction /elimination of maladaptive behavior Sensory/motor development Socialization Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred OR An Associate's Degree in a Social Services Discipline OR two years (4,174 hours) of supervised experience working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors as well as co-occurring mental disorders or neurocognitive disorder A valid Driver's License, clean MVR & auto insurance (You will be using your personal vehicle to transport clients) The ability to pass a MN DHS background check A working mobile device that can receive & send phone calls and capability of downloading application for documentation The ability to make independent decisions Reliability and flexibility are necessary for success in this position Benefits: Health Insurance (Full-Time, 1 Year Waiting Period for Part-Time) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Supplemental Insurance (Short-Term Disability, Life, Accident, Critical Illness) Paid Time Off Performance-Based Wage Increases Employee Assistance Program
