Davis & Floyd (D|F) is currently seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Civil Engineer to join our Stormwater Team in South Carolina , preferably in our Charleston location but the position location is flexible for the right candidate. The s elected candidate will become part of a team that provides hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, stormwater design, and stormwater permitting services in support of highway, municipal, and regional drainage projects. The ideal candidate will work in a strong team environment of highly motivated professionals for a company whose team p rides itself on integrity and quality. Davis & Floyd is a multi-disciplined design firm that has been providing quality professional services to our clients since 1954. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and production of detailed aspects of engineering work primarily related to D|F's Water Resources team. Professional Requirements Basic understanding of stormwater management, hydrology, and hydraulics and related theory License d Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of South Carolina or ability to obtain such through reciprocity >2 years of related experience with hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) model ing and industry-standard software Proficien cy in AutoCAD and Civil3D a plus Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS software a plus Company Benefits Competitive Salaries Flexible Schedule with Core Hours of 9 am - 4 pm Mon-Th (Remaining Hours can be Flexible/Remote) Profit Sharing Plan (Company Contributes Regardless of Employee's Contribution) Company Paid Extended Illness Leave Professional Memberships Continuing Education Licensures
